Alright, this has been a long time in coming, but I know people wanted to see pictures of my new place for some reason? I mean... I'm quite happy with it, even if it is a bit messy, but apparently people want to see. And so, Whisper's Moving Adventures!
Right, so I had to start somewhere, right? First step was packing! This is the basement where I wa sliving before. We had a pretty nice setup down there, not gonna lie!
Dining/living area, then the hall to my room, and the next two pics are my room. This was right in the middle of packing, so it was kind of a disaster ^^;
Then this is post packing! Everything was boxed but the furniture pretty much! It was so empty and weird...

Packing the truck day! This was a...what, Thursday I think? I don't remember anymore, rofl. Only problem was, not only is the 4th of July weekend the biggest moving weekend in the country, but there was also the big fire at the time. there weren't any trucks in the Springs! We had to drive north to Castlerock to get our Uhaul and drive back down >.>

These are me trying to get pic of the fire. Thankfully by that time it was moving up into the mountains, but you can see the little smoke plume in there...
Moving day! If I remember right, this was Friday? Meh, I dunno. What I do know is that since my place is on the 3rd floor, we hired movers to bring everything upstairs for us. It took them an hour and five minutes. that was it! Hurray for big strong guys!
So now...we had a mess! Oi it was such a huge mess >.<
Essie of course was FLIPPING OUT. Since I got her she's only ever lived in the house in the Springs. Upstairs for a little bit, but for the most part she was in the basement all the time. So she was sooo scared. Everything made her nervous! She refused to come out of the closet for ages, and then she went and...laid in the sink.
Wasn't kidding :P She got better with time though, silly kitty XD

So one of my favorite thing about this new place? I have trees right outside my windows and view of the lake! So I call it the Treehouse XD
I didn't have enough bookshelves, so at first we just had to stack them as best we could on the shelf that I did have, rofl. Also, my cat is weird. And yes, that is a fur pillow she's sleeping on. Alpaca fur pillows. They're SUPER soft, but I don't like it much...so my cat does instead, weirdo, rofl.

The ugliest apple pie in the history of pies >.< My mom drove up with my grandma and Aunt Linda and we all went out for lunch and came back here to have pie ^^ It wasn't terrible, but my new oven is hotter than I expected, it dried out my crust! Which was already way too dry, so oh well...
Blurry me! This is before the party I went to the other night. Well, barbecue really, it wasn't a party. But I felt sexy :P

While I was cleaning up stuff in the bathroom, Essie came in and climbed into the sink.

My lovely living room! The trunk is new. Or stolen from my brother, new for me. It's effectively gonna me my coffee table :P And my corner entertainment center! With a mountain of Disney movies on top! I'm having a marathon! Yes, those are the VHS tapes XD

Right, so from the desk area looking back into the living room. I have a lot of wall hanging stuff! Almost too much, I didn't have room for it all, lol.
And this is where I spend a lot of my time ^^ Either here or plopped on the couch with my laptop on the kitty scratcher for a desk XD You can see the shelf on my desk used exclusively for Harry Potter books and merch! Including my time turner and Hermione treasure box thingie :)

It's an awful blue, it really is...at least for me. Doesn't matchmy bathroom stuff at all! It might not bother me as much, except they also painted the ceiling and the back of the friking door!
And my bedroom XD Look at all the room I have on my new hugormous bookshelf! I need more books, woot! Of course the bottom two shelves are being taken up by the Disney VHS tapes normally, half of them are just out in the living room right now :P And the mirror thingie beside it is the door to my closet. Which I will not show you, as it's a bit of a mess right now :P
And thus concluded the tour of Whisper's new apartment! Not much to it, but I don't need much space when it's just me XD Still a little work to be done...rearranging nicknacks, hanging the last of my pictures, and my lights! I have a string of orange and purple lights I want to hang from the curtain rod in the living room. And I need to buy another small string to wrap in the tree in my room. Moooood lighting, heck yes XD
